Meet Rachel

Certified Health Coach & Educator

Let's be real -- I love green smoothies, avocado on everything, practicing yoga, and staying up-to-date on the latest wellness trends. I also enjoy cheeseburgers, ice cream, french fries, and binge-watching a good TV show. I believe in eating nutrient-dense foods most of the time, taking care of your body and mind, creating healthy habits, and not striving for perfection. I want to empower my clients to find joyful and realistic ways to live a healthy lifestyle.

Steady Rhythm Wellness was created out of a passion to help people create healthy habits to live a vibrant life. As a Health Coach, I help clients master healthy habits that serve them for life and address any underlying issues that may be preventing them from following through with their goals. Asking questions is a huge part of health coaching. It's about walking alongside each other and working in tandem to help clients reach their health goals. I do not diagnose or tell clients what to do. Living a healthy lifestyle is not a one-size-all approach. I listen and personalize the health coaching sessions for each client.

I am very grateful for my educational, personal, and professional experiences that have brought me to where I am today. I grew up in a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I lived a simple life playing in the woods, swimming in the freshwater lakes, and biking around the neighborhood streets. I attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education and minor in Health and Nutrition. After graduation, I started working as a Health Education Consultant at MARESA and still work there on various projects today. I then attended Western Michigan University where I earned a Master of Public Health degree. I rounded out my education by becoming a Certified Health Coach through the Health Coach Institute. I am currently enrolled in the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy to continue my education and growth.
